We welcome enquiries about weddings from couples. Your first point of contact would be to pop into the Church community area on a Saturday morning.

We will spend time with you preparing you for your wedding, explaining the service, the Church's teaching on marriage, and encouraging you both to think about the important step in life you will be taking.

Whether you are a 'Church goer' or not we will spend the time with you to make your wedding a very special and memorable day.

What the Church does best is give you a real 'ceremony' - as opposed to a rigid, simply legal affair. A Church Wedding ceremony helps us express thanksgiving to God for your love of each other, celebrating the step of faith and commitment you will make in marriage, and allowing your family and friends to express their joy too in the singing of hymns,  listening to special words of hope and love, and feeling part of the ceremony of your wedding day.

We have two beautiful, picturesque Church buildings - Haverhill and Withersfield to choose from. We offer the services of an experienced Director of Music, an excellent choir, church bells to ring out your joy, an audio system to play music special to you, and if the weather is cold outside - we have central heating in Haverhill Church too! Whatever your budget, we will sit down, together to work out how you can make the most of your Wedding Day.

Here are some of our wedding preparation documents to help for your information:

Planning your service:   Draft order of service.pdf

Music for your wedding:  New wedding music revised 2011.pdf

Suggestions for readings: readings.pdf

So, please get in touch, so we can help you make the most of your special day
